All China Leather Exhibition Since its inception in 1998, the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) has gained a reputation of opening up China’s leather market to the world. With a continuous increase in buyer and exhibitor turnout over the past 5 years, ACLE 2005 saw 18 international pavilions, with visible participation from Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Korea, Pakistan, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and USA.
Market Opportunity China’s explosive growth, as a manufacturing base over the last two decades, is unprecedented in modern history. Exports reached USD 8.2 billion in the first half of 2005, up 17.4% over the same period of last year. Imports accounted for USD 2.5 billion, an increase of 6.3% over last year.
