Russian houseware market includes sale of interior items for home, garden and country house, tableware, kitchenware, lighting fixtures, bath accessories, cleaning implements, goods for health, home textiles, interior decorations and other goods.

Russian houseware market grows rapidly now. One of the reasons is increasing volume of house building. In spite of the houseware segment growth one can see lower volume rate of manufacture of the Russian porcelain and faience tableware and other houseware because of increasing price on energy resources.

Autumn Fair 2009:

Houseware Expo and Gifts Expo: trade fairs are characterized by large spectrum of visitors. The recordly high number of trade visitors was registered at the fairs of Autumn 2009 – 32,821, among them 7,689 representatives of wholesale purchasing companies, 2,520 representatives of trade chains, 4,972 corporate clients, 15,730 shop directors, 380 interior designers, 1530 advertising agencies.

Trade visitors: 32,821

32 foreign companies from 12 countries (the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Italy, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, India, Belarus, Ukraine) participated in the fair. Hong Kong, Taiwan and Czech Republic national pavilions were organized at the fair.
