We are pleased to inform you that Taiwan Tea, Coffee & Wine Expo, is scheduled to be held from 26-29 November 2010 at Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall, Taipei.

Taiwan Tea, Coffee & Wine Expo is the only exhibition specialized for Tea, Coffee & Wine industry. Every year, it attracts lots of overseas firms paying attention to and participating from China, Japan, Korea, Central America Region, South-East Asia and so on. The expo provides the most efficient platform for related products to enter Chinese and Asia market. The huge market is waiting for you to expand!

The consumption of tea per person per year was about 1.55 kilograms higher than Japan in 2008. Owing to the high demand for tea, Taiwan imports large amounts of tea. In 2008, the total import volume was 25,700 tons about 63 percent of total domestic tea demand, according to the data of Ministry of Finance, R.O.C.

Coffee beans are mainly imported from overseas. In 2007, the total import volume grows considerably, reached 21,195 tons. Besides, the consumption of coffee per person per year was 80 cups in 2003, and it increased to 100 cups in 2008, refer to the data of Ministry of Finance, R.O.C. It is obvious that Taiwanese coffee market is greatly increasing year by year.

Taiwanese love to try superior quality imported liquor. According to the data of National Treasury Agency, the total liquor sales volume in Taiwan 2008 is 639,844,098 liters and especially 27.67% of total sales are imported liquors.
